The world’s a different place than it was 10 years ago. Everywhere you look (home, work, school, the Internet) there is a constant sense of change. Traditional models for achieving “success” seem to be breaking down by the day. For high school students with big decisions on the horizon — this is confusing. Frustrating. Daunting. We know they pretend you’ve got it all figured out sometimes, you’re probably in need of some reliable guidance. That’s where we come in.
In a nutshell, we want to help young people find a greater sense of significance, and hopefully, a more fulfilling future. How? By developing an Uncommon Aptitude, of course.
Glad you asked. An Uncommon Aptitude is a special pursuit or skill that every person should seek to discover and develop. It is a way of helping high school students get into a college they will love. We will help them navigate the 21st century college application process. Following the conventional wisdom is not enough anymore. Today, college applicants must step outside the box and show schools what they can contribute. But you don’t have to take our word for it. Here’s proof.
We have a team of college students from around the country that contribute to the Uncommon Aptitude blog, sharing their experiences, advice, and inspiration. For now, that is where we have concentrated our efforts. We have big plans for the future, and we want you to be a part of it.
